The first time I ever visited Bloomfield road was a fleeting visit with my grandad and his brother-in-law who we were visiting at the time. The first thing that we did was go into the club shop and have our photos taking inside it and outside it. We then went and had a look at the work they were doing on building the new Armfield stand.

My second visit to this ground was to watch Blackpool v Birmingham with my uncle Tim as Birmingham are one of the teams I support so occasionally go and watch them away. After having a walk up Blacpool sea front and seaing sights like the tower and Madame Tusauds we headed to the ground. The first thing I did was to go into the club shop and in there I purchased a small hanging kit. We then noticed that some supporters were giving out small gold posters that read 'Oyston out, 30 million where did it all go' and as football fans picked one up over curiosity. The next thing I notice is that I saw my grandads sisters son-in-law and daughter who are avid Blackpool supporters so I called them over for a quick chat. On going into the ground my uncle got sniffed by sniffer dogs which is a first and I also saw my freind and his parents who we had a long chat with.

During the game Birmingham went 1-0 down but brought it back to win 2-1. When the second goal went in the whole of  the blues end went wild and even to the point where I thought someone was going to fall on me. The stand we were seated in was the temporary east stand which by nature was very rickety and seemed to sway and move slightly with the amount of fans celebrating for Birmingham goals. After the game we waited by the blues team bus and got around 11 Blues players autographs including Nicola Zigic, Paul Robinson and Jordan Ibe. I also had my photo taken with them too.
